A Friendly Welcome!

About Concord Dog Training Club

Our club is undergoing a transition and revitalization.  We no longer offer general training classes to the public – we were priced out by the for-profit training centers.

However, the club has scheduled regular training sessions for members and their guests on the 2nd Friday of selected months and is working on general seminars so that we can continue our mission to provide quality training to dog fanciers.  If you are interested in attending one of our training parties click the email link below.

The club continues to offer an annual Rally Trial in conjunction with Middlesex County Kennel Club each June.  We hope to restart our annual obedience trial in the near future.

If you have any questions please Send EMail and we will respond as soon as possible.

I have a friend who lives in Sudbury and who is interested in doing agility for fun, using positive reinforcement training methods.
Do you know of a dog training club in or near Sudbury that would provide this activity for her and her dog?
    Thanks, Jean Tebay

      Jean,
I imagine that by now your friend has found some place to train. The closest place to Sudbury is Especially for Pets. Our club is not able to offer training at this time but we are in residence at DogStar Activity Center in Acton.
      Regards,
      Anne

My husband and I are getting a new puppy in August. I would like to know if you offer training classes for puppies. Where are you now located? I was hoping to find classes near by. We live in Lexington.
Your organization was recommended by my vet

    Thank you!

      Hi Catherine,
Unfortunately we are not able to offer any training classes at this time. We lost our facility and have not been able to find new space we can afford. Also, our long-time puppy trainer, Arlee Recktenwald, past away.
We are currently in residence at DogStar Activity Center in Acton, MA near the Concord Rotary. They do offer puppy classes. Our members meet to train their own dogs at “Training Parties” that the club sponsors approximately monthly in the fall-winter-spring months.
      Regards, Anne
